Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

The app sucks half the time. I can't even call someone. it just rings and disconnects right away. I've checked to make sure we both have updates on both sides. I have an Android. the person I'm calling has an iPhone and then basically our microphone and video is accessible every now and then it's temperamental and I can't call the person via video. it just disconnects the call rings once and that's it

Hi Jennifer. Please check your cellular or Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi or mobile data icon should have at least 1 bar. If you experience bad connectivity, please move to a location with better connection. Most of the time the call quality is good (clear picture and audio) but there are times where the voices on both sides are distorted or jumbled. Most recently, my calls have been dropped or ended at or around the hour to hour and a half mark. I remember a time where I could let the call go for hours and it wouldn't end unless someone's phone died or we ended it. I miss that feature! I've looked everywhere in the settings and haven't found a fix.
